Bhojpuri Entertainment Channel Mahuaa TV has organised an audition for selecting contestants for its forthcoming serial Sur-Sangram 2. Earlier Sur-Sangram had proved to be a path breaking reality show on Mahuaa TV.
Audition at Chapra will be held on 30th June at Bhagwat Vidyapeeth, Bhagwan Bazar. Those willing to participate to join this audition have to register themselve at the site alongwith a photograph, proof of age, and proof of residence. They should be within 18 to 28 years of age.
RJD Saran district vice-president Janardan Singh and his wife were shot dead by unidentified assailants on the night of 9th May, triggering protests by locals who blocked the Chapra-Tajpur National Highway. Police said that four gunmen stormed their house at Manjhi in Saran district and shot dead Singh and his wife Prabhawati Devi. Old enmity was stated to be the reason behind the killing.

In a mega Lok Adalat held at Siwan Civil Court on Sunday 1728 cases were disposed. These cases involved transactions of nearly Rs. 30 lakhs which were settled amicably.
